Iced Matcha Latte
🥕 Ingrédients
- Matcha: for this recipe, you will need matcha powder. This is a great pantry staple to have on hand!
- Water: the matcha is mixed with a little bit of water to help it dissolve before adding it to the latte.
- Honey: this is used to sweeten the latte. You can also use agave, maple syrup or sugar.
- Vanilla (optional): this is an optional ingredient if you want a hint of vanilla flavour in the matcha latte.
- Ice: you can’t have an iced latte without ice!

- Ceremonial grade matcha: this is the highest quality matcha powder that is made from the youngest tea leaves. It has a very smooth and creamy taste. This type of matcha is most commonly used to drink as plain matcha tea and has a vibrant green colour.
- Culinary grade matcha: this matcha is still great quality, but not quite as high quality as ceremonial grade matcha and has a more robust taste. This type of matcha is used mostly in lattes, baking and other recipes.
